How we list your prices
We take prices from your practice's own website or published price list, the same list the CMA order asks practices to publish. Every price links back to where we found it and shows the date we checked it.
- We never invent or estimate a price. If we cannot find one, we show "No price list published yet".
- We compare like with like. Starter packs, health plans and bundles are not counted as single treatment prices.
- Where your list says what a price includes, such as pain relief or a buster collar after surgery, we show that too, because it changes the real cost for owners.
- Out-of-hours fees are only shown as yours if your practice runs the service itself.
Bills from owners
Owners can send in bills. We check each one by hand before it counts, and only show them as a range once at least two bills for the same visit have been checked. We never publish an individual bill or anything that identifies the owner or the pet.
Corrections and updates
If a price is wrong or out of date, send us a link to your current price list or tell us the correct figure. We aim to update it within two working days and will reply to confirm. You can also tell us:
- what is included in a procedure price
- your opening hours and out-of-hours arrangements
- whether you are independent or part of a group
- services we have missed
Removal
Practice names, addresses and published prices are public information, and comparing them helps owners. We will not remove an accurate listing, but we will always correct an inaccurate one quickly.
