Where the prices come from
Every price comes from the practice's own website or published price list, and we link to the source. Some come from bills that owners send us, shown only as a range once checked. We check prices carefully, but practices change them and a price list rarely covers everything a visit ends up needing.
- Treat every price as a guide. The practice's own quote is the one that counts.
- A price marked "from" is the lowest it can be, often for the smallest animal.
- If a vet does not publish a price, we say so rather than guess.
Not veterinary advice
Nothing on this site tells you what treatment your pet needs. If your pet is ill or injured, call a vet. In an emergency, call the nearest out-of-hours vet straight away and do not stop to compare prices.
Sending us a bill
When you send a bill, you confirm it is a real bill for your own pet and that you are happy for us to use its prices. Please leave out your name, address, pet's name and account number. We check every bill before it counts and may reject any without giving a reason.
Using the site fairly
Please do not send false bills, try to break or overload the site, or copy its data in bulk to republish elsewhere. We may block anyone who does.
Links to other sites
We link to vets' websites and price lists. We are not responsible for what those sites say or how they handle your data.

We provide the site free and as it is. We do not accept liability for decisions made using its prices, or for a vet charging a different amount. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
